To Managers and Coaches:

The Hockey Regina Inc. Pee Wee Classic AA Tournament committee is pleased to invite you to submit your application to participate in the HRI Pee Wee Classic AA Tournament. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this event. The tournament has been scheduled from January 26th to 29th, 2012.

This is the largest Pee Wee tournament in Western Canada. Teams from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, United States and Saskatchewan have participated in this premiere tournament. In 2011 we had 32 teams from 23 different communities from across Western Canada represented. Many current WHL and NHL players have played in the tournament over the years, including 2010 NHL Rookie of the Year Tyler Myers.

All games will be played under one roof at the Co-operators Centre six arena complex. Each team is guaranteed 4 games and should you make it to a final you will play 6 games. No team will play against a team from their league during Pool Play. No team will play more than two games in one day. There will be no back-to-back games. Each game will consist of 1 - 15 minute and 2 - 20 minute stop time periods.

We have had to turn away teams every year, so please complete the registration form (below) and return as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, if your team is interested in attending this year's tournament. All cheques and registration forms may be mailed to the address listed on the contact page.

The tournament committee will review all applications with the appropriate deposit and acceptance decisions will be made by November 7th. Upon your acceptance the balance of fees, team rosters, coaches and manager information are to be forwarded by November 20th

Notes: Please mail a cheque for SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($750.00) as a deposit for this year's tournament. The balance is due by November 20th. Entry won't be considered until we have your deposit. Each team will fax/email their rosters by November 30th. CHA registration forms to be included. Out of Canada teams must remember that to participate in this tournament the proper player registration forms must be received by the tournament committee. Entry Fee: $1,225.00 The tournament committee reserves the right to reject an applicant. The tournament entry fee will be refunded if the team is not accepted.
